We’ve designed this newsletter to be a vehicle to communicate general trucking issues as well as National Motor Freight Traffic Association (NMFTA)™ activities.

Now Available: FCDC Docket Disposition 2024-1

The Disposition Bulletin 1368, containing the proposed amendments discussed by the Freight Classification Development Council (FCDC) at its public meeting on March 11, 2024, is ready to view.

Dispositions resulting in amendments to the National Motor Freight Classification® (NMFC®) will be published in a supplement to the NMFC. The supplement is scheduled to be issued on April 11, 2024, effective May 11, 2024.

The NMFTA's 2024 Spring Meeting, held March 10-13 at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort in Colorado Springs, CO, was a resounding success. The event offered an economic outlook by economist Donald Broughton, a regulatory and Clean Freight Coalition update by NMFTA's Jim Mullen, and numerous committee meetings which fostered invaluable discussions on pressing issues within the LTL motor carrier industry.
